Zinc oxide helps prevent sun damage, wrinkles and dark spots. This amazing mineral is also widely used to treat a variety of skin conditions including dermatitis, itching due to eczema, nappy rash and acne.

Zinc oxide is the only active sunscreen ingredient approved by the FDA for babies under six months, making it without a doubt the best and gentlest, natural sunscreen available.

The SPF value only measures UVB rays. It indicates how long it takes UVB rays to burn the skin when using a sunscreen versus without sunscreen product. While protection against UVB rays that cause sunburn is important, it is also crucial to protect your skin against UVA rays, which have a longer wavelength that penetrate the skin deeply – causing age spots, wrinkling, premature aging, and DNA damage which can lead to skin cancer.

How To Apply

Solimara truly natural Sunscreen is different from most products on the market. With conventional sunscreens, the active chemical ingredients are required to sink down into the different layers of your skin before they become “active.” This is why it is recommended that you wait 15 to 20 minutes before going out in the sun. When you apply Solimara truly natural sunscreen, you can go out into the sun straight away! This is because our mineral based sunscreen is designed to sit on top of your skin, acting like a mirror, reflecting sunlight away from the skins surface and creating a layer of protection immediately!

I have been using this sunscreen for many years now and will continue to do so 😍 It protects and nourishes my dry skin completely AND it even kept it from drying out in the very harsh winter conditions in Germany ! Sun protection + daily face moisturiser = all good !!

My partner has an auto-immune disease and is on medication that makes him sensitive to the sun. Solimara's sunscreen is just the right sunscreen for him, keeps him from burning (something no other sunscreen can do and we've tried most of them) and doesn't make his skin react. There is honestly nothing else quite like it.

I work and live in the hot Hawke’s Bay sun and absolutely love using Solimara sunscreen. It’s not greasy, has great coverage, and smells lovey. I have never been burnt when using it, and love the easy to use packaging. Great value for such a high quality product. Super happy customer!

Brilliant sunscreen. I was having problems with my skin suddenly reacting to other sunscreens, even straight zinc ones, but Solimara's not only didn't affect my skin, it cleared existing rash from previous one. So pleased to have found this product.

I received my first solimara sunscreen at the go green expo a few weeks ago and I am loving it. We have had some really hot days of late and with no cloud cover and my three little ones have been completely protected! My toddler and I both have sensitive skin and have tried numerous 'natural' labelled sun creams that under closer examination weren't actually natural and irritated our skin.
