Abyssinian seed (Crambe abyssinica) oil

Abyssinian oil is easily absorbed into the epidermal tissue generating a very noticeable smooth texture to the skin It is said to be an effective moisturiser that promotes smooth, subtle skin and aides in removing wrinkles

Apricot kernel (Prunus armeniaca) oil

Apricot oil is produced from the stone of the fruit and is known to have extremely nourishing qualities and is easily absorbed into the skin. Packed with strong antioxidants, apricot kernel oil can reduce oxidative stress, help to tighten and tone the skin, reducing the appearance of age spots.

Arctic winged kelp (Alaria esculenta) extract

It’s dense with amino acids, powerful antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.
Its unique pathway helps boost cellular activity leading to significant increases in skin firmness and elasticity.

Beeswax (Cera alba)

It is a wax secreted by bees. Beeswax provides a breathable barrier to the skin, helping prevent moisture loss. Beeswax is also an emulsifier and gives texture to creams and balms.

Benzyl alcohol

Benzyl Alcohol is an organic alcohol found in many fruits and teas and is used as a preservative.

Caprylhydroxamic acid

It is an amino acid (organic compounds that are essential building blocks of life) derived from coconut oil. It’s a gentle preservative that ensures product safety and longevity.

Caprylic/capric triglycerides

A liquid derived from coconut. It creates a barrier on the skin’s surface, which helps to reduce skin dryness by decreasing the loss of moisture leaving the skin replenished.

Cetyl phosphate

Used as an emulsifier and surfactant, Cetyl Phosphate is the potassium salt of a complex mixture of esters of phosphoric acid and cetyl alcohol. Cetyl alcohol is a long chain organic alcohol of plant origin.

Coco-caprylate

Coco-caprylate is a skin-conditioning agent naturally derived from coconut oil. It provides high hydration and is used as a natural alternative to silicones.

Coconut extracts

Derived from the coconut palm, coconut extracts provide vitalizing and energizing effects. They have antioxidant activity, are anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.

Co Enzyme Q10 (Ubiquinone)

It is a vitamin-like substance that is made naturally in the body and decreases as we age. Co-Q10 acts as a strong antioxidant helping to neutralize the harmful free radicals, one of the major causes of aging. It is vital for energy production to fulfil the skin’s basic function like regeneration and repair. It encourages the production of collagen and elastin.

Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) essential oil

Frankincense is made from the resin of the Boswellia tree. It is an antiseptic and disinfectant agent that has antimicrobial effects. Frankincense essential oil is said to treat dry skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, scars, and stretch marks.

Ginkgo biloba leaf extract

It contains a powerful inhibitor of tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for the development of pigment in the skin. Ginkgo extracts, when applied to the skin, may result in a skin lightening effect
as well as provide favourable antioxidant skin protection.

Galactoarabinan (Larch tree)

Galactoarabinan is a polysaccharide obtained from the extraction of one or more species of the larch tree (Larix). It provides film-forming and good hydration for skin.

Glycerin

Derived from vegetables, glycerine hydrates skin and provides a barrier against moisture loss.

Glyceryl caprilate

Co-emulsifier, naturally derived from glycerin and coco-fatty acids.

Grapeseed (Vitis vinifera) oil

Grapeseed oil is renewed for its excellent moisturising qualities. It has an extensive structure of vital minerals, is rich in vitamin E, lightweight, easily absorbed, and helps to heal the skin and reduces fine lines.

Hemp seed (Cannabis sativa) oil

Hempseed oil is a rich source of vitamin E, which is an excellent natural preservative.It provides perfect care for sensitive skin and also contains certain skin-loving minerals such as magnesium, zinc, iron, calcium, and phosphorus. Hemp seed oil is known for not clogging pores and providing superior moisturisation to keep the skin looking and feeling supple.

Isostearic acid

It is a fatty acid which is obtained from vegetable fats and oils. It functions as a surfactant and a binder.

Jojoba seed (Simmondsia chinensis) oil

It is a natural ingredient derived from the seeds of the desert shrub Simmondsia chinensis. Technically, Jojoba isn’t an oil, but a wax with powerful moisturizing properties. It’s thought to closely mimic sebum, the skin’s natural oil. Jojoba oil does not clog pores.

Lecithin

Lecithin is a naturally occurring lipid derived from soybeans. It has a smoothing and moisturising effect on the skin. A natural component of the body, lecithin helps to form and stabilise cell membranes.

Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) oil

Sodium chloride is a salt that occurs naturally in seawater, it’s a preservative and thickener.

Sorbitan olivate

Derived from olive oil, sorbitan olivate is an emulsifier. This emulsifier helps mix oil and water-based ingredients to help soften and moisturise the skin.

Sweet almond (Prunus amygdalus dulcis) oil

An outstanding humectant with antioxidative properties, sweet almond oil is safe for sensitive skin including baby skin.

Sweet orange peel (Citrus aurantium dulcis) oil

Cold-pressed from the orange peel, it has a fresh sweet citrus fragrance that embodies its calming and refreshing properties.

Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid)

Vitamin C has a unique status. It is a powerhouse antioxidant ingredient and considered an anti-aging superstar.

Vitamin E (Tocopheryl acetate)

Vitamin E is a naturally occurring component of healthy skin. It offers significant antioxidant properties to help defend from environmental stressors.

Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata var genuina) essential oil

Ylang ylang essential oil comes from flower petals of the large, tropical ylang-ylang tree. It’s considered an effective antiseptic, antispasmodic and sedative. It helps to preserve a “youthful glow” and aids in preventing signs of aging or irritation.

Zinc oxide

A white mineral pigment with skin-protecting properties. Zinc oxide is the only natural UV filter that protects from the entire UVA & UVB spectrum.
